Welcome to Tozer Primary School
and Mountain View Elementary!

We invite you to visit Tozer Primary School and Mountain View Elementary to see our great learning community for yourself!

Tozer is a primary school specializing in the developing minds and bodies of preschool through second grade students, while Mountain View Elementary focuses on third through fifth. We work together to meet the needs of every learner.

Our safe, caring learning community is committed to instilling the values of respecting self, others, and learning. Students learn rigorous academic content aligned to the Colorado Model Content Standards.

Project Based Learning provides the ideal framework for student learning as they explore and are challenged through collaboration, critical thinking, technology and creativity.

Our mission is to develop learners who contribute to our community.  We instill independence, curiosity, problem-solving skills, citizenship, and the ability to communicate and collaborate with others. The vision of the Tozer/Mountain View campus is to be a Project Based Learning community where all collaborate to foster student learning.

Cold Weather Does Not Cause Colds
It is no secret that most parents blame winter air as the cause for colds and the flu. After all, our parents told us to “bundle up or you will catch a cold,” and their parents probably told them the same thing. However, while the viruses that cause flu and colds are more common in the winter months, the circulated air in closed environments (homes, schools, childcare centers) are the main cause of your child getting sick.
